Randy Boyer started working for McBride & Son Contracting in early 1983 as a carpenter. After six months he was asked to run a carpentry crew. In 1984 he was promoted to job running Foreman to run Riverwood Estates. By 1986 he was overseeing multiple subdivisions in the North County region of St. Louis . In 1990 Randy was promoted to carpentry superintendent.
In 1995 Randy was a partner and Vice President in the startup of Builder’s Contracting in St. Charles, responsible for hiring manpower, seeking work, estimating all new work and managing the jobs. By 1998 the performance of Builder’s Bloc in St. Charles was on a fast track and the results were promising. At that time as a part owner of Builder’s Bloc, a merger occurred with McBride and Son Companies and the McBride and Son Contracting Company. The two companies became Builder’s Bloc. As this change occurred his title changed to General Manager of Builder’s Bloc. St. Charles . By 2001 Randy and his staff of 13 administrative employees and over 200 field employees, performing Foundations, Flatwork, Carpentry, Drywall, and Roofing. In February of 2011, all Builder’s Bloc operations were consolidated and Randy currently oversees all Flatwork operations for Builder’s Bloc.
