Larry Baker began his career for McBride and Son Contracting in 1983 as a foundation labor, working his way up to carpenter, and eventually a crew leading foreman in 1990. During that time, Larry’s father, Billy Baker, was a superintendent for our company. Following in his father’s footsteps, he was promoted to Superintendent of the St. Louis Foundation Division in 1999. With the merger of McBride and Son Contracting and Builder’s Bloc, Larry was promoted to General Manager, overseeing all Foundation operations for the Builder’s Bloc organization. Larry Baker graduated from Pattonville High School and an Associate’s Degree Central Missouri State University.
